BHS selects Wandering WiFi's wireless fidelity service

Wandering WiFi has announced that Blessing Health System is offering the company's wireless fidelity service free to all visitors, patients and physicians in its Quincy, Illinois locations.

According to Wandering WiFi, the service is provided via a wireless in-house network, available throughout most areas within Blessing Health System (BHS).

Wandering WiFi said that its product portfolio includes HotSpot solutions and AirWatch, a wireless network and mobile device management software platform designed to manage wireless infrastructure and mobile devices, monitor configurations and users, and consistently audit wireless security across an enterprise.

Lea Eickelschulte, director of information systems at BHS, said: When patients and visiting physicians began asking about wireless accessibility, we started the evaluation process, looking at security considerations and the financial investment. Wandering WiFi had a good deal of industry experience and was very sensitive to the specific issues within healthcare. The company has been a good partner, working with our security and compliance department to troubleshoot and address potential issues from the beginning.
